My name is Joey Gonzalez and I'm a professional body piercer here at Salt & Light Tattoo. I began my career with Salt & Light Tattoo in 2018. At the beginning of 2020, after a couple years exploring other aspects of the body art industry, my mentor Matt Geiogamah offered me the opportunity for a piercing apprenticeship. I completed my apprenticeship under Matt & our piercer Megan Collier; however, I strive to continue learning as I further my piercing career. I pierce on an alternating schedule each week; please call the shop directly to confirm availability.

Piercings are done on a walk in basis Monday through Saturday from 11am - 8pm. We do pierce minors who are 16 years of age - or older, with parental consent; both parent and minor must provide a state issued I.D. along with the minor’s birth certificate at time of service. The address on both I.D.s must match. School I.D. and paper I.D. does not qualify for these purposes.

I do offer lobe piercings for minors 8 years of age or older. The minor’s parent must provide a state or government issues ID as well as the minor’s birth certificate at the time of service.
